(Baltimore, MD) − International soul artists Nao Yoshioka (Japan), Debórah Bond (DC) and Marc Avon Evans (MD) join The Women’s Challenge, Inc., (“TWC”), a Maryland-based women’s empowerment, non-profit organization for Shades of Soul. “With such a diverse mixture of talent, coupled with the type of music, the name was a natural fit,” say Lorraine Bailey-Carter, Founder and Chief Woman of Vision for TWC. “Three dynamic artists with varying styles of performance to produce one sound… SOUL!”

Slated for Sunday, October 4, 2015, this show is yet another extension of TWC’s month-long fundraising effort to support Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence awareness. “In this organization, we meet so many women with many different stories and various life challenges,” say Bailey-Carter. “Our goal is to be a support system for women, through engaging seminars and outreach activities to let them know that that THEY all have a voice, whether silenced from abuse or stifled by life-threatening medical conditions.”
